Somehow I have stumbled into some really good stuff lately. Suggestions from all over the board- a makeup artist, friends, influencers, TV hosts and even one that has been sitting in my cart for literal years that I finally pulled the trigger on. All eight of these products are not only worth Babbling about, but worth a try if you are on the fence yourself. I'm sharing all the details and my personal experience with each below.
I have spent many a years using a wrong for me eyebrow pencil. I think it is usually the color I screw up, which is why I loved when my makeup artist told me this is truly a one color fits all tinted gel. Truthfully, I wouldn't have believed it if she wouldn't have put it on both my mom and I (who have very different eyebrow colors and aesthetics) and we both immediately loved it. It seems to take what you've got and enhance it in a very natural looking way. Plus it's easy to use! With the tiny little mascara type brush and wand, it is easy to help tame, tint and thicken your brows. It is also buildable- you want more brow or darker, just keep applying! I personally love it to keep my brows looking their best in between my microblading sessions and if I had found it before I went down the microblading road, it would've have been VERY helpful. Just a quick shout out that brows are really where it's at. They can be a total face game changer. If you haven't entered the good brow era, girl LFG! I met a friend for coffee and we were both late and frazzled and in the middle of a story when we sat down. All I had on was this brow gel for makeup and she had to stop mid sentence and tell me how amazing my face and brows looked. It's that good. Plus it's a feel good clean beauty product that is vegan and cruelty-free. Clearly I have a lot of brow feelings to Babble about!
I have been eyeing this product for literal years, but have been too cheap to purchase it. I kept looking for the knock-off, but in this case, it is worth the splurge (which when you get down to it, isn't even that splurgy). The first day I tried it I thought it was too intense, but I packed it for vacation anyway, and very quickly fell completely in love with my pits. I just love this scent! If you are an earthy, musty, manly kind of scent lover too, this is a no brainer. I would describe it as making me feel like I'm a high end, classy, yoga class taking, Anthropologie shopping, goddess. Someone who knows who she is and has her shit together. I like this version of me and she comes out just from wearing this deodorant (and I don't even have to go to yoga). It's another clean product free from parabens, sulfates and phthalates. Gone are the days where we would just spray or slather on any version of Secret that we found at the grocery store. I'm a pitter so I would even get that insane, completely stop any sweat from coming out of your pits for days stuff, but we are older, wiser and have learned we need to do better for our bodies, and my pits deserve this. They've been through hell and back and now I get little moments of joy through my day when I get a whiff of my Salt & Stone pits. I don't see this changing for me anytime soon unless I try one of their other scents, but for me the Santal & Vetiver is where it's at. Hands down loving it. Wish I made the switch earlier. Sticking with a similar theme of the yoga, Anthropologie shopping goddess, my friend gifted me this perfume for my birthday because we both share a love for that kind of scent and this is really elevating my perfume game (especially paired with my Salt & Stone Deodorant discussed above). My personal scent game has gotten a real upgrade folks. They describe this scent as giving you a moment to feel peaceful, calm and centered with cleansing palo santo, fresh crisp eucalyptus bark and rosewood. YES PLEASE! Yet another feel good product that is sulfate, paraben, phthalate free and free of artificial dyes, cruelty-free and vegan. Maybe I am actually turning into the upscale, hippy goddess I feel like I am?! It really is such a gorgeous scent without being over powering and just smells fresh and delightful!
Hear me out ladies with disgusting dry, cracked heels for no damn reason- you are safe here and in good company. WTF. Why does it look like I am working barefoot on dry concrete all day? My tootsies can spend all day lotioned up nice and in socks and I still have that awful, cracked heel! I have tried it all. Every cream and potion, every cheese grater type devise in the shower and these heel moisturizing socks seem to magically take care it while I sleep. I don't have to do anything other then put these puppies on and let them work their magic. It says that it hydrates heels in less than seven days but I think I started really seeing results in as little as two. Surprisingly they are completely dry! There is a gel lining that is packed with nourishing essential oils on the heel that traps in moisture that allows for hydration and repair while you sleep. Another no brainer for me. It's taken me years to find this product and there is not turning back now that I am proud of my hydrated, healthy looking heals in sandals, at yoga, propped up on the couch, you name it. I might even treat myself to an embarrassment-free massage for finding these socks! IYKYK
Raise your hand if you are afraid of teeth whitening? Did you also overdo the Crest White Strips when you were in your 20s? It's a pain that you can't forget and you don't want to go back to anytime soon. I am a coffee, tea and red wine lover and would also really love whiter teeth. It seems like everyone online is talking about the Lumineux Teeth Whitening Strips and in a moment of optimism that they would indeed work for a gal with sensitive teeth, I purchased them. That was back in October. They sat looking at me for nine full months. Even though I had them, it never seemed like a good day to test the theory and see if they really were pain-free. I finally did it, and the rumors are true. Apparently they lift stains without taking the enamel too. They are certified non-toxic and microbiome safe made without preservatives, additives, artificial dyes or flavoring. Also- they work! Both my teenager and I are using them and want to try their toothpaste now too.
Obviously I'm a gal who loves a good recommendation and when I saw Hoda from the Today Show RAVING about this product, it went straight in my cart. If you've been with me for a bit, you know I love a good anti-frizz hair product that leaves your hair glossy looking. This is supposed to be THE product to use that essential waterproofs your hair even in the worst humidity. Thankfully I don't live in a humid climate anymore, but when we visit or are on vacation somewhere that is humid I am so curious how you girls are holding up! Once again, sulfate, paraben and alcohol free, it's a product you can feel good about. Here's the crazy thing, it's heat activated! You apply liberally to your clean, towel-dried hair, comb through and then blow dry to activate. It's a good one if you are searching for a product that leaves your hair glossy, glassy and ultra smooth.
We all need an eye cream am I right?! My problem, I hate taking the time each morning and night to apply yet another cream, especially one that has to be so delicately applied. That is why I'm loving this eye stick. I have used it more than any other eye product I've purchased because it is so user friendly. Similar to a lipstick tube, you just twist the product up and run it gently over the skin around your eyes. I've even done it over my makeup when I have forgotten to apply it and it's no problem and looks great, actually maybe even a little luminescent?! It both brightens and gets to work as an anti aging solution. Safe for sensitive skin it is clinically proven to hydrate, firm and brighten locking in moisture and improving firmness and tone and softening wrinkles and crow's feet. It also helps with puffiness and dark circles. Customers can experience visible results after 3-4 weeks. I'm personally pressing the easy button with this product. It gets great reviews, is another clean, vegan product, and I'll actually use it because the stick makes it so easy. Literally takes 10 seconds.
I've Babbled about this bad boy before, but really it is one of my favorite beauty products to have in my toolbox and one of the main products that Babblers say they are so happy I introduced them to. This is the tanning product of your dreams. First of all it doesn't smell funky and it doesn't transfer to your pillow, your pjs or anything else. It goes on with a hydrating water mousse that both hydrates your skin and gives you a beautiful, natural glow. You can use it on your face or body and you can build on it if you want more of a tan, by just doing it again the next night. It is paraben and cruelty free and eco-certified. I've tried a lot of self tanning products in my day including some serious ones with special gloves that have stained everything I came in contact with, and this one seems to give the most natural "did you just get back from vacation" type glow that makes you look and feel better and healthier.
