I think everyone knows about this free app, but then I'm always surprised when I say "I will IMDb it" and someone doesn't know what I'm talking about.
IMDb is an app and website and is the source for all movie, television and celebrity information. Here are just a sampling of all the ways IMDb comes in handy.
Looking up a show to see where it is streaming. Just type in the name of the show and it will give you all the streaming options and prices. Not having to individually check Netflix, Prime, Max, etc. is worth the download alone to me.
Ratings of all movies and shows to help guide your entertainment selections.
Parent Guide- this is where I first fell in love with IMDb. You can look up any movie or show and scroll down to the parent guide where it will give you rating in each of the following categories as well as specifics. If there is something your child is especially afraid of, or if there are certain subjects you aren't ready to broach with your kids just yet, this is a lifesaver.

- Violence & Gore
- Profanity
- Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
- Frightening & Intense Scenes
Want to know what else that actor/actress was in? All the celebrity information!
I just learned- all the info on podcasts and video games are on IMDb too!
When you are logged in and registered you can keep Watchlists of shows you want to watch, keep notes, etc.
I know there are other features like Trivia and you can pay to be an IMDb Pro, but I haven't delved into that world. This app comes in handy all the time for me. Have you been using it too?
