Costco Must Buys

Don’t you just love hearing about the gems you might be walking right by at one of your favorite stores? Such a great chance to get out of your comfort zone and try something new. Put down those samples and grab some of these favorite Costco finds from the Babble Panel.

Let's just start out by assuming you are already getting all of the toilet paper, medication, batteries, meat and the rotisserie chicken that you bought the membership for in the first place. I also hope you have eggs reoccurring on that Costco list. So many egg options and so much less expensive than the grocery store. Okay, now let's get into some things that might not be making it into your cart.

Sartori BellaVitano Merlot Cheese- "Chases favorite cheese and perfect for any charcuterie tray!" - Anissa

"Fondue cheese that is reasonably priced both pre-made and Emmentaler and Gruyere if you want to grate your own." - Romy

"Kevin's Cauliflower Cheddar Soup- I serve this to my family and pretend that I made it. I tell my daughter it's potato soup because she hates cauliflower and I tell my son it's cauliflower because he hates potato. I do make fresh bacon and cut up lots of stuff for toppings." - Romy

"Pure Protein Plus Chocolate powder makes amazing low calorie shakes with 30mg of protein for 2 scoops! Knowing how important it is for women over 40 to be getting more protein in our diets this makes it so much easier. If you add in greek yogurt you can start your day with up to 50mg of protein." - Erin

"New Costco member. I do love the huge bags of frozen chocolate berries. The chocolate raspberries are the best. The blueberry ones hurt my teeth." - Meghan

"Two words: Holiday Grapes." - Tiffany

"Believe it or not- the Honey Citron & Ginger Tea. I feel in love with a tea similar to this when living in Japan. I hadn't had a tea where you could scoop it right into your water and enjoy it. This tea is great for when you have a sore throat (and yummy enough for kids to actually drink), delicious either warm or cold, my hubby and I have even made a hot toddy out of it by adding whiskey, and have big plans to try it in cold summer cocktails as well. My only problem is this jar is huge and takes up so much room in my fridge. I guess that's why it's at Costco though..." - Brooke

"Of course the wine (sorry Utah where you don't get the wine and booze at Costco) but the Kirkland brand Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc wine is literally my most favorite wine. I hesitate to even put it on here because I don't want anyone else to know. I am not ashamed to say I have bought it by the case there, as you can see in the photo of our wine rack (all the green tops are this exact wine). I have had friends do blind taste tests of other Sauvignon Blanc's and let me tell you, this one wins! It's also like $8 so you don't have to feel guilty for unscrewing that cork on a boring Tuesday. Really I have yet to find a Kirkland brand wine I don't like. I read an article once about how Costco is getting their wines from a lot of reputable vineyards, and I am here to cheers that!" -Brooke

"My family is obsessed with the Costco brand OJ." - Romy

"Kirkland Body wash and Shampoo and Conditioner. My kids love all 3!" - Anissa

(Side note- this is what I use on the daily too. -Brooke)

Fresh Flowers- duh.
