Sloan's Terracota Pumpkins

Classy, yet seasonly sassy! I loved these DIY terracotta halloween decorations my craftiest girlfriend whipped up. She shared with us just how she did it below...


This TikTok video was my friend's inspiration, but she did them differently. She found terracotta paint at Michaels so she didn't have to use baking soda. Just different colors of terracotta paint like these we found on Amazon.


Start out with some simple artificial pumpkins or other decor that you can find at your grocery store, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Target, or like these cute ones I found on Amazon.



Then you just paint on the terracotta paint and class these babies up a bit! She did two coats of paint on hers.



Voila! That's it! Super cute, classy and a little fun project.


Pro Tip: do it with pumpkins that don’t light up because you can see the paint strokes (see picture below). In person they really do look ceramic!
