You're home, you're cold, and you're looking for a new show or movie to binge. Streaming Sister is giving us the details on all the best ones to tuck into.
"Blame the writers' strike for the lack of options right now- hoping for a catch up soon!"
Lessons in Chemistry (Apple TV) - Love, love, love this show!
A Murder at the End of the World (Hulu) - Great acting and plot twists.
All the Light We Cannot See (Netflix) - War is ugly but this show created the ability to see good in many.
The Guilded Age (Max) - It’s not Bridgerton, but the lead is Meryl Streep's daughter.
Paris in Love (Peacock) - I don’t care what anyone says, Paris Hilton entertains me and the fact she didn’t tell her mom she had a baby for over a week is pure Paris.
The Kardashians (Hulu)- Keeping in the reality realm, say what you will about them - they are pure entertainment.
Fargo (Hulu) - This season stars Juno Temple and she is amazingly badass in this true story. My favorite character however is her MIL Jennifer Jason Leigh and I didn’t even recognize Stephen from Stranger Things until the third episode.
True Detective (Max) - The 2nd season lost me, but binged season 3 before the new season starts tonight and it was true crime perfection. Also Danny from Y&R as a scumbag is hilarious.
Love Has Won (Max) - Documentary - If you don’t know who Mother God is, you are missing out.
Society of the Snow (Netflix) - True story of Andes plane crash - how did anyone survive? I’ve seen it before, but this was well done.
Good Grief (Netflix) - Loss is confusing and this is a well told complicated story.
Maestro (Netflix) - Okay it’s been abuzz and I definitely wasn’t excited to watch, but I cried for a half hour - my shirt was WET - and it wasn’t Bradley Cooper. Carey Mulligan for all the awards.
Saltburn (Amazon Prime) - I mean if you want to be involved in water cooler gossip, you need to watch this. Watching my husband watch this was half the fun.
Thanks Streaming Sister!! What else have you been tuning into that is worth babbling about?
